Crazy about Edible Food Packaging & Industrial Packaging Materials

It's still going to work the exact same way", my exasperated spouse hissed into my ear as I grabbed cartons after containers of some 'designer' tissue. Yes, for a graphic designer and writer who understands all about the kind of effort one puts into product packaging and branding products, I sure fell for it. I am entitled to fall for nice product packaging, I have a prevailing right to be human.

They are so quite ... the packaging. I swear!

They have the 'nature enthusiast' packaging, the 'fruity' product packaging, the 'lady on the go' product packaging, and then they have the 'kids' packaging. I got 4 of each design bundles and made a run for the counter with them with my screaming kids and exasperated other half following me in sluggish movement. It was certainly a 'die-hard' moment. You understand, when the hero is fleing from a bunch of wild bad males with gatling gun, and they're shooting at your feet or something ... and there's an explosion behind you ... and whatever occurs in ssslllloooowwwww mmmmooooottttttiiiioooonnnnn.

Well, in this case, I was running for checkout with boxes of tissue paper with expensive packaging designs on them. I enjoyed the product packaging creates so much, after using up all the tissues in the boxes, I would cut out the styles and put it into my 'needs to keep for referral' clear folder. I don't keep a lot of things in there due to the fact that I am pretty selective about the styles that I like, but these product packaging styles made the cut.

You see, this is the kind of thing that happens when you put some effort into making your packaging style. Yeah, we all have this in the back of our heads ... "Hey, it's PACKAGING! They're going to THROW the PACKAGING away.

However this is what I have to tell you, as a graphic designer and customer. The more effort you put into creating your product packaging, more consumers will take a look and stop at your product packaging or what's inside the product packaging. Now, does it make sense for me to say now that when they stop and take notice of your packaging, your opportunity of getting them to purchase your product boosts? Precisely.

You see, the function of product packaging is to get the consumer's attention. And without an electrifying packaging, consumers are going to walk past the loads and stacks of other rival products ... and yours ... without even knowing you're there! Your product is sitting there on a rack, for goodness sake, and the only weapon you have is to have a good product packaging. Once they stop and have a look, you've plastic packaging sutli won the preliminary.

Think about it!
